ALLAH’S REMEMBRANCE PRESCRIBED AFTER SALEH

� Recite Once:

Ayat-ul-Kursi (2:225)

اللَّـهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ ۥ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ ۥ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ ۥ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيْهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ ۥ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ ۝

Allāhu lā ilāha illā Huwal- Ḥayyul-Qayyūm, lā ta’khuzuhū sinatun wa lā nawm, lahū mā fis-samāwāti wa mā fīl-arḍ, manzal-lazī yashfa`ū `indahū illā bi iznihī, ya-lamu mā bayna aydīhim wa mā-khalfahum, wa lā yuḥīṭūna bishay’im-min `il-mihī illā bi mā shā’a, wasi`a kursiy-yuhus samāwāti wal arḍ, wa lā ya’ūduhu hif-ẓu-humā, wa Huwal- `Aliyyul- `Aẓīm.

Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by Whom all subsist; slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases, His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both tires Him not, and He is the Most High, the Great

( Also recite once before going on a journey and before going to sleep and once when you wake up )

� Say Three times:

“ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ – AstaghfirAllah” (I ask Allah forgiveness)

� Say Once :

اَللَّهُـمَّ أَنْتَ السَّـلاَمُ، وَمِنْـكَ السَّـلاَمُ ، تَبَـارَكْتَ يَاذَا الْجَـلاَلِ وَالإِكْـرَامِ

Allāhumma antas-Salāmu wa minkas-salāmu, tabārakta yā dhal-Jalāli wal-Ikrām.

O’ Allah, You are the Peace, and You are the Source of Peace, You are Blessed, Oh Possessor of Glory and Honour

� Say Once:

اَللَّهُـمَّ أَعِنِّـيْ عَلَـى ذِكْرِكَ، وَشُـكْـرِكَ، وَحُسْـنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

“Allahumma aah-inni ala Zikrika, Wa Shukrika, Wa husni ibadatik

( O’Allah assist me in remembering you, in thank you and worshipping you in the best of manners)

� Say Once:

لاَ إِلَـٰهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْـدَهُ لاَ شَـرِيْكَ لَـهُ، لَـهُ الْمُـلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْـدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَـى كُلِّ شَـيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لاَ حَـوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ، لاَ إِلَـٰهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَلاَ نَعْـبُدُ إِلاَّ إِيَاهُ، لَـهُ النِّعْمَةُ وَلَـهُ الْفَضْـلُ، وَلَـهُ الثَّنَاءُ الْحَسَـنُ، لاَ إِلَـٰهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ مُخْلِصِـينَ لَـهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِـرُونَ

Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lahū, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa Huwa `alā kulli shay’in Qadīr. Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh. Lā ilāha illallāhu, wa lā na`budu illā iyyāhu, la-hun-ni`matu wa lahul-faḍal wa lahu asana ul-ḥasanu. Lā ilāha illallāhu mukhliseena lahudeen, wa law kari-hal kafiroon.

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. There is no might nor power except with Allah, none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and we worship none except Him. For Him is all favor, grace, and glorious praise. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah and we are sincere in faith and devotion to Him although the disbelievers detest it.

� Recite:

-thirty three times – “ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ – Subhana Allah ” (Glory is to Allah),
-thirty three times – ” الْحَمْدُ لِلَّه -Al Hamdu Lillah” (praise is due to Allah) and
-thirty three times – “ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ -Allahu Akbar” (Allah is the Great),

and then complete the hundred by saying once:

– “ لاَ إِلَـٰهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْـدَهُ لاَ شَـرِيْكَ لَـهُ، لَـهُ الْمُـلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْـدُ، وَهُـوَ عَلَـى كُلِّ شَـيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

-Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lahū, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa Huwa `alā kullee shay’in Qadīr.

(There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah Alone, He have no associate. His is the Dominion to Him is due all praise; He has power over all things)

( You can read this anytime and also read before you sleep)

� Recite once:

– Surah-Al-Iklas (the Qur’an, Surah 112),

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ۝ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ ۝ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ۝ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ ۝

1. Qulhu walla-hu ahad, 2. Alla huss-samad, 3. Lam yalid walam yoolad, 4. Walam ya kul-lahu kufu waan ahaad

1: Say: He, Allah, is One 2: Allah is He on Whom all depend 3: He begets not, nor is He begotten 4: And none is like Him

– Surah-Al-Falaq (the Qur’an, Surah 113),

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ۝ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۝ وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ۝ وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ۝ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ۝

1. Qul aaoo’ zubi-rabbil falaaq, 2. Min sharri ma khalaqa, 3. Wamin sharri ghasiqin eeza waqab 4. Wamin shar-rin naffa-saa-thi feel uoo-qaadh 5. Wamin sharri haa-sidin iza-hasad

1: Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn 2: From the evil of what He has created 3: And from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes 4: And from the evil of those who blow on knots 5: And from the evil of the envious when he envies

– Surah-Al-Nas (the Qur’an, Surah 114)

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ۝ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ۝ إِلَـٰهِ النَّاسِ ۝ مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ۝ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ۝ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ۝
1. Qul a’oozu bi-rabbin naas 2. Malikin naas 3. Ilah hin-naas 4. Min sharril was-wasil khannas 5. Alla-zee yu-was-wisu fee sudoo rin-naas 6. Minal jinn-nati wan-nas

1: Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men 2: The King of men 3: The god of men 4: From the evil of the whisperings of the slinking (Shaitan) 5: Who whispers into the hearts of men 6: From among the jinn and the men

(PLEASE NOTE: Recite three times each after Fajr and Maghrib salat and also to read these three Quls before going to sleep, by reading into cupped hands and blow gently into hands and rub over whole body)

� Recite once raising hands -Durood Sharif Ibrahim:
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ عَلَى آلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ ۞ اَللَّهُمَّ بَارِكَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إئبْرَاهِيمَ وَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهَيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

Allah humma salli ‘ala muhammadin wa’ala ali muhammadin,kama sal’layta ‘ala ibraheema wa’ala ali ibraheema innaka hameedum majeed Allah humma baraka ‘ala muhammadin wa’ala ali muhammadin, kama barak ta ‘ala ibraheema wa ‘ala ali ibraheema innaka hameedum majeed

O Allah, confer blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad in the manner You conferred blessings upon Ibrahim. Verily, You are the Praiseworthy, the Majestic. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad in the manner You blessed Ibrahim. Verily, You are the Praiseworthy, the Majestic.
AFTER MAGHRIB AND FAJR PRAYERS – ADD THE FOLLOWING:

� Say Seven times:
اَللَّهُـمَّ إِنِّـيْ أَسْأَلُكَ رِضَاكَ وَالْجَنَّةِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَالنَّارِ

Allahumma inni aas-aluka reedaka Wal Jannah, Wa auzu bika min sa-khatika wan-naar

( O Allah we ask you to be pleased with us, reward us with the Paradise and we seek your refuge from your anger and the punishment of the fire)
� Recite seven times:

حَسْبِـيَ اللَّهُ لَآ إِلَهَ إلاَّ هُوَ عَلَـيْهِ تَوَكَّـلْتُ، وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِـيْمِ

Ḥasbi-yallāhu lā ilāha illā Huwa`alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-`Arshil-`Aẓīm.

Allāh is sufficient for me.There is none worthy of worship but Him. I have placed my trust in Him, He is Lord of the Majestic Throne.

� Recite three times:

رَضِيْـتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبَّـاً وَبِالإِسْلَامِ دِيْـناً وَبِمُحَـمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيّـاً وَرَسُـوَلاً

Ra-ḍeetu billāhi Rabban, wa bil- Islāmi deenan, wa bi Muḥammadin ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa sallam Nabiyyan Wa Rasulaan

I am pleased with Allah as a Lord, and Islam as a religion and Muhammad peace be upon to him as a Prophet

� Recite three times:
سُبْحَـانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْـدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْـقِهِ، وَرِضَـا نَفْسِـهِ، وَزِنَـةَ عَـرْشِـهِ، وَمِـدَادَ كَلِمَـاتِـهِ

Subhan-allahi wabi-Hamdihi, Aa’dada khalqihi wareeda nafsihi, wa-zinata aa’rshihi, wa-mi-dada kalima-tihi

How perfect Allah is and I praise Him by the number of His creation and His pleasure, and by the weight of His throne, and the ink of His words
� Recite three times:
بِسْـمِ اللَّهِ الْذِي لَا يَضُـرُّ مَعَ اسْمِـهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمـآءِ وَهُـوَ السَّمِـيعُ الْعَلِـيْمُ

Bismil-lah-hil-lazee lay-dur-ru ma’aas-mihi shay-on fil-ardi wala fis-samaai wahu-was-samee-ul-aa’leem

In the name of Allah with whose name nothing is harmed on earth nor in the heavens and He is The All-Seeing, The All-Knowing.
� Recite three times:
أَعُـوْذُبِكَلِمَـاتِ اللَّهِ التَّـامَّـاتِ مِن شَـرِّ مَا خَلَـقَ

Aa’oozu bika-lima-til la-hit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq

I take refuge in Allah’s perfect words from the evil He has created
� Recite once:

يَاحَـيُّ يَا قَـيُّـوْمُ، بِـرَحْمَـتِكَ أَسْتَـغِـيْثُ، أَصْلِـحْ لِي شَـأْنِـي كُلَّـهُ، وَلَا تَكِلْـنِي إِلَى نَفْـسِي طَـرْفَةَ عَـيْنٍ

Ya hayyu ya qayyoomu, birah-matika astagheethu, aas-lih lee sha’nee kullahu, wala takil-nee ila nafsee tarfata aay’in

O Ever Living,O Self-Subsisting & Supporter of all, by Your mercy I seek assistance, rectify for me all of my affairs & do not leave me to myself, even for the blink of an eye

� Say Ten times –

“ لاَ إِلَـٰهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْـدَهُ لاَ شَـرِيْكَ لَـهُ، لَـهُ الْمُـلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْـدُ،يُحْـيِي وَيُمِـيْتُ، وَهُـوَ عَلَـى كُلِّ شَـيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

-La ilah Illa Allah, Wahdahu La Sharika Lahu Lahul-Mulku Wa Lahul-Hamdu Yuhyi Wa Yumitu, Wa Huwa ‘Ala Kullee Shay’in Qadir”.

(There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah Alone, He have no associate. His is the Dominion to Him is due all praise; He gives life and causes death and He has power over all things)

� Do Dua! See my examples of Du’aa for Parents and last post for general examples of Du’aa. e.g.
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِىْ وَلـِوَالِدَىَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ يَوْمَ يَقُوْمُ الْحِسَابُ ۝ رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيٰنِىْ صَغِيْرًا

Rabbighfir lii wali-waalidayya walilmum-iniina yauma yaquumul hisaab (Also recite) Rabbirhamhumaa kamaa rabbayaani sag-hiiraa

‘Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and (all) the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established (Also recite) My Lord! Have mercy on them both as they did care for me when I was young.’
� Do Zikr ! You can do this after or before Saleh and anytime. See my previous posts to help. e.g. Say 100 times –

This is a typical routine one should try to adopt On a daily basis. Especially now that Ramadan is approaching, the rewards is many times more than normal during this month! Please remember this is excellent for those who have need to rid anxieties and troubles.. Stick with it regardless of the distractions!
