Duniya
Here is another one of those moral stories you hear people sometime share! So I thought I would share this with you all! Applies equally to Brothers and Sisters..

This is a story about an old man who saw a fully-veiled woman in black from head to toe. This woman would show up here and there and this man would chase her. When the time for salaat came, he would miss it because he would chase after this fully veiled woman. This woman had caught his eye and ever since, he’s fallen in love with her, he hasn’t been able to keep from her. So eventually, one day, he decided he would follow her back to her home. When she arrived, again the sound for prayer came, but he didn’t listen or attend to its call and kept searching for her through the windows and wherever he could. Then he managed to find a big open window..and to his surprise, there she was, standing with her back facing him…Then, the woman begun to unveil herself, and he was naturally getting very excited…at long last, he would fulfil his desires.. then, when she took off her veil from her face, she slowly turned round…. to his amazement and shock, she was an old and creepy woman… This woman looked at him and said, “Well, I’m here for you. You’ve been chasing me for so long…..You have missed prayer for me….. You now can fulfil your desires…….. I’m the Duniya”.

The moral of this story is simple: Don’t follow blindly and this world is only an illusion.
Do your duties as a Muslim as commanded and don’t be fooled by this world that it has anything good which is enough to give to you. This dunya is only an illusion for its lovers! So don’t fall in love with it!

Like the phrase goes, “The Duniya is paradise for the unbelievers and hell for the believers.”

Fitna can so easily be “trouble, or strife”

The Duniya or the world can be considered fitna. Fitna is apparent and exists inside of the Duniya. The Duniya itself isn’t a problem because many individuals are able to live within it without any problem, but the problem is how to understand how to live within it. With me?

Living for the Duniya and living in the Duniya are two separate things. Living in the Duniya is simply categorised as living within it for living purpose! Living as much as possible in Duniya!

Living for the Duniya can be categorised as loving the dunya because of its luxuries, materials, its wealth, its lusts, its pleasures, and so on, etc.

So, the story isn’t a new’s story, but one of morality and virtue. You must know where you stand … on the grounds of, are merely living in this Duniya and following the rules of Islam or are you one who loves this Duniya and chases after it.
